Future

(picture borrowed from flickr)

Future.
People are so very interested in it.
My one that is.
Just because I'm not close to dying of old age people think they have the right to intrude in my personal life and ask me how I want my future.
With nails and claws.
"What do you want to dooooo? "Who do you want to beeeee?"
If you're not sure or dont want to answere their questions you get advises.
Suddenly, the bastards are experts in your life.

Next time someone asks me what I want to do.
I will answer "nothing".
Nothing at all.

(And yes. It's my birthday today)

  1. I wish you a'Happy Birthday' :) and just ignore those people who think they know what's the best for you. or like paulo coelho said: "Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own."
Hope you're having a beautiful day...

  2. I get so fed up of the same thing, in fairness, I have no idea, so I tell them that, and they start offering me ideas about my life, and my future.

  5. i have been too preoccupied with my own future lately. but i hate when people ask, as if i'm being judged on my dreams alone.

happy happy birthday! mine in this coming friday. i am so terribly afraid of it. i thought all those dreams would've happened by now. but i am also left with that 'nothing' and everyone is saying, aren't you there yet?

    xx x

  7. Happy Birthday. Most of those people mean well. They are older and probably have a whole long list of things they wish someone had told them when they were your age. But that doesn't mean you have to listen.
